I earned my Blind Handyman merit badge
yesterday. Plumbing by faith- you should
try it.
When I turned on the garbage disposal,
both sides of the kitchen sink backed up with nasty water! Ug! The plunger didn’t do the trick, so I got under
the sink and applied my nonexistent plumbing skills. As I took apart the U pipe, what did I find? A
salad shooter! Filth and muck shot all over
me!
After detaching
and cleaning pipes, then reattaching and testing them, there was still a clog somewhere.
I went through the process again and found
a rodent sized vegetation blockage, with my fingers. Yuck! Braille sure comes in handy while plumbing
in the dark!
I put everything
back together and it worked! I was a plumber.
I plumbed. Although covered in muck, I felt very accomplished.
